Back to back winnings : Euro 2008 and now World Cup 2010. These boys are legends. World Cup 2010 will always be remembered as the one with noisy vuvuzelas, psychic octopus and Spain as the champion.
I thought Spain played a good game but I was rooting for Holland because of the attitude of some of the Spanish players.
Their play acting made me sick. Some of them were worse than Christiano Ronaldo in his younger days.
I also felt that Howard Webb had a bad day at the office. The goal came from a Spanish goal kick when it was clearly a corner kick for Holland.
But on balance I must say, Spain was the better team on the night. Sneijder was effectively locked out of the game. Tu ler Man Utd nak beli jual mahal, kan tak menang World Cup.
I think Howard Webb did the best he could, especially when Holland wasn't playing football, they were doing kung-fu. :P That kick to Xabi Alonso's chest should've been a red card. But yeah, you don't want to send people off on a World Cup final if you can avoid it.
Spain could be outplayed, Switzerland and Paraguay showed the world how. I am just glad Holland didn't take note.
